Thailand is a fantastic country filled with some of the friendliest people on the planet. The country is beautiful both above and below the sea having untouched jungle on the hills and beautiful sandy beaches with crystal clear blue waters on the coasts.

It is still very cheap to holiday here, leaving you plenty of money to explore the country and enjoy some of the many and varied activities available. Accommodation is plentiful and will suit all travellers. The west is perfect between October and May whist the east is best explored between May and September.

Koh Lanta

Koh Lanta lies approximately 70km south of Krabi and stretches for 27km North to South on the Andaman Sea and is easily accessible from both Krabi and Phuket Airport. Internally virgin rainforest climbs to heights of 500m above sea level. Koh Lanta is known for having a quieter, more laid back atmosphere than some of the other Thai islands nearby it also boasts crystal clear waters and white powdery beaches on its west coast.

Diving in Koh Lanta is considered by most to be the best in Thailand with a rich marine life, beautiful reefs and plenty of cathedral like caverns and caves to explore. Koh Lanta is well situated for the Southern dive sites of Koh Phi Phi as well as offering its own famous dives sites to the south and south-west of the island.

Diving is offered in Koh Lanta between October and May when the weather is hot and much drier. At this time the sea conditions are much better offering clearer waters and calmer seas.

Klong Nin

Klong Nin is about 15 minutes from the main town of Saladan. The beach at Klong Nin is stunning with its long sandy beach, crystal clear water and Ko Rok in the distance. Whilst quieter than many of the beaches further North, Klong Nin has a busy centre and many restaurants and bars in which to enjoy the sunset. Klong Nin has a wide choice of accommodation all very close by to suit all pockets and needs.
